A modern building located on Pio XII square, created by world famous architect Peña Ganchegui, offering excellent access to all major routes in and out of the city, and within walking distance to all major attractions in town, such as the Kursaal Conference & Exhibition Centre, Anoeta Sports Complex, La Concha beach and the city’s old quarter, the place to go for delicious pintxos snacks made with local traditional ingredients. Verbis, Raul Urrutikoetxea, Jose Ramon Amondarain, Angeles Agrela, Dario Alvarez Basso, Manu Muniategiandikoetxea and Javier Alkain; sculptures by Elena Asins, Fernando and Vicente Roscubas, and Stephen Dean; a silkscreen print by Cristina Iglesias; photographs by Susy Gomez, Eugenio Ampudia, Aitor Ortiz, Unai San Martin, Manuel Saro, Dionisio Gonzalez, Thomas Ruff, Nan Goldin, Juan Usle, Jon Mikel Euba, Sergio Belinchon, Rodrigo Oliveira, Carlos Irijalba and Bleda & Rosa —plus an etching signed by Jose Maria Sicilia and a video-installation by Charles Sandison. The elegant decor and facilities of the Hotel Silken Amara Plaza’s public rooms make them ideal for business meetings, business lunches, conventions, functions or any other kind of event. The hotel provides 500 square metres of versatile modular public rooms to accommodate up to 500 people. All can provide external telephone line, public address system, audiovisual equipment, background music, fax, email and secretarial and translation services for business meetings and conventions.
