Join us for our monthly installment of Chicken Yoga hosted by YogaLoft and special guests from the Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary. Classes will have limited spots and require a reservation via Eventbrite. All levels are welcome! All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary! Please note, our gal Charlotte (an Ybor chicken celebrity) is quite drawn to jewelry, so leave the shiny stuff at home. Coffee, Tea, and Champagne are available after class! Please #BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat). Valet parking is available for $10 or street parking. Class starts at 11:00am in the Valencia Ballroom. Discover the Ghostly Legends of One of the Most Haunted Towns in the U.S. Maybe the history of Mr. Ybor’s City is to blame. A true “melting pot” of immigration, what began as an area populated largely by alligators and snakes grew to become “home” to tens of thousands of people within the span of just 40 years. Along with the cigar workers who came from Cuba and Europe to make a new life, “Cigar City” hosted more than its share of villains, conspirators, buccaneers, bandits and gangsters. They arrived from all over the globe, and some have never left, despite slipping the bounds of their worldly forms. Tampa’s famous “Latin District” has had no lack of strange and creepy happenings. And, as the sun sets, the restless souls of Ybor City’s frightful past begin to stir. Join us to hear their tales, many of which have been long forgotten, as you walk the streets of this historic town. There is no way to pre-determine if an other-worldly experience will occur on any given tour. Of course, there is no way to say that it won’t, either. Our promise to you is an informative, entertaining and scary walk through Ybor City’s past. Your Guide is above all an outstanding communicator, well versed in storytelling at its best. Not only are the guides experts on the history of the city, but they are also fascinated by the paranormal and have had personal experiences with ghosts and other entities, sometimes during the tour!

The Tampa Baseball Museum at the Al Lopez House officially opened September 25, 2021! Charter Members can schedule their timed-entry visits to the museum online using the free admissions and guest passes included in their membership. Beginning September 30, we will follow our regular Museum schedule. Capacity will be limited in accordance with state guidelines. We encouraged you to purchase your timed-entry tickets online in advance of your visit. We care about your health and well-being. Masks are required for all visitors entering the building, as well as for the Museum’s staff and volunteers. All guests are asked to abide by CDC guidelines and social distance appropriately from other parties. High-touch surfaces like railings, doorknobs, and touchscreens will be cleaned and sanitized regularly. If you are sick and experiencing flu-like symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your visit to the Museum.

Any reservations that need to be cancelled must be cancelled by 6pm 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid any charges. If the reservation is cancelled after the deadline, or a guest with a confirmed reservation does not arrive by 11 p.m. on the date reserved, the reservation will be cancelled, and the first night’s deposit will be retained as a “no-show” fee. If a guest checks out before his/her scheduled departure date, there will be an early departure fee equal to one night’s room rate and tax charged according to the chart above. If the guests advise the hotel of a change in departure date at or before checking in, no fee will be incurred.
