The Lombardy was originally constructed in 1926 as a luxury high-rise on New York's Park Avenue, when that part of town was a playground for the rich and famous. Although fully restored and refurbished, the Lombardy building, lobby and public spaces retain a classic charm reminiscent of the golden age depicted in ¨The Great Gatsby¨. Once you step into your accommodation, however, you step into a whole new era.
