Located in the heart of San Isidro, is one of the most emblematic and beautiful in this district. This beautiful park is surrounded by olive trees, which are over 1500 in total. Huaca Huallamarca

The Huaca Huallamarca is the most important archaeological monument in San Isidro. Huallamarca name derives from the quechua word "brand" which means, Shire or town and Hualla was the nameof a tribe. When the Incas in the 15th century came to the coast, they found the Lima Valley populated by various tribesone of these tribes was the Huallas. Los Huallas used the place to bury their dead, then, probably, thefarmland should be very useful to serve other purposes that were not agricultural. The testimonies found in the tombs of the Huaca Huallamarca comprise a period of time that goes from the 6th century A.d. until the advent of the incas in the 15th century.
