About us
The Hyatt House Jersey City is located in the Exchange Place neighborhood of Jersey City directly next to the Exchange Place Station on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail which runs north to North to Hoboken and North Bergen, NJ and south to Bayonne, NJ. The hotel is also located one block from the Exchange Place PATH Station which runs east to the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan and west to Newark Penn Station in Newark, NJ. Nestled between the two transit systems it is a prime overflow destination when Manhattan hotels are running at peak occupancy. The 258 suites and guest room are an adaptive re-use of a 97-year old bank building, the First National Bank of Jersey City. The 14-story, residential inspired, extended-stay hotel features the most unique attribute of the hotel being the retractable glass rooftop lounge with views of the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty. The Hyatt House Jersey City includes a full hot buffet breakfast and Wi-Fi differentiating it from many of the other hotels in Jersey City.
