Carver-Hawkeye Arena: The 15,000 seat facility is home to the University of Iowa's men's and women's basketball teams, women's volleyball, wrestling, and men's and women's gymnastics. Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery: Cedar Ridge is a family-owned vineyard, winery, distillery and event space. Award winning wines and small batch spirits are produced including Iowa’s highest rated wine and its first bourbon. Complimentary wine tastings, tours and a full menu are offered at the beautiful 7,000 square foot facility. Kalona Brewing Company: A craft brewery and restaurant in downtown Kalona, local craft beer made on site and a full-service restaurant featuring wood-fired pizzas, burgers, brats and beer battered onion rings. Old Capitol Museum: For more than 150 years, Old Capitol has represented the pioneering spirit of Iowa and The University of Iowa. The last capitol of the Iowa territory, it served as Iowa’s first state capitol from 1846 to 1857. Old Capitol Museum is a vital cultural and educational resource for more than 30,000 visitors, researchers and school children each year. Museum of Natural History: For over 150 years, the Museum of Natural History has served the academic and public community with exhibits, research collections and programs. Events are open to the public at no charge or a for a minimal fee. University of Iowa Museum of Art: While working to rebuild a permanent home following the flood of 2008, selected works from the UIMA collections are on view at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport and the UIMA@IMU Visual Classroom at the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City.

Brown Deer Golf Course: Voted for the third year in a row by Iowa City Press Citizen & Corridor Business Journal readers as the best golf course in the corridor. Brown Deer is an 18-hole public course with driving range and practice facility. They also offer a full service pro shop and banquet facilities. The 60 acre course offers some of the most picturesque and challenging golf in the Midwest. Finkbine Golf Course: Finkbine Golf Course is the University of Iowa Athletics Department championship golf course and is home to the Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Teams. Named for W.O. Finkbine, who donated the land to The University of Iowa, this scenic golf course, from the championship tee, stretches over 7,200 yards of rolling Iowa terrain, and plays to a par 72 with a USGA course rating of 74.6 and slope rating of 134.
