It’s an ionic landmark in Rotorua, the magnificent Maori warrior cast in bronze, welcoming visitors to the Copthorne Hotel Rotorua. Situated midway between the world famous Pohutu Geyser and the city centre, the hotel is perfectly located to take full advantage of everything the region has to offer. Accessibility to this unique destination is made easy with direct flights everyday from Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. The hotel is 9km from the airport, 2km from NZ’s leading international Polynesian Spa pools and 3km from the Rotorua Events Centre. Ride the skyline Gondola up Mount Ngongotaha and luge down at your leisure. Go zorbing, white water rafting or choose any number of adventure sports in and around Rotorua. Visit the areas most famous thermal activity at Whakarewarewa. The hotel consists of 58 guest rooms including 1 suite with separate bedroom and living areas. The spacious superior rooms have been recently refurbished utilising warm autumn colors creating a relaxing atmosphere and some come with a private balcony. The hotel has various conference rooms catering for groups from 10 to 340 delegates with modern conference equipment available. The hotel has three acres of land suitable for marquees and special events. The hotel can accommodate for event requirements from small strategic planning seminars to annual meetings and banquet dinners.
