More
Bon Cap Robertson is located in Robertson, South Africa. Lately the farm boasts 10 cottages, a conference and wedding facility, a country bistro and coffee shop and a privately owned winery. To accommodate our guests during our hot and dry Karoo summers we have a swimming pool, a lapa (Boma) and for the more adventurous, there is the Breede River, which flows by on the border of our farm. The guest cottages at Weltevrede (the original homestead on this seventh generation family farm) are built on the edge of one of the dams on the farm. The river and dam are popular for fishing and birdwatching. Bon Cap Winery offers brides and grooms a sanctuary of advice and guidance with tailor-made wedding packages to suit a couples specific needs for their big day. As a one stop wedding venue Bon Cap offers both In house coordinators, as well as in house florist, which are at a brides finger tips for the planning in run off to the wedding day. It also has both a small and large function hall which, in accordance to the size of the wedding party, allows for intimate and more formal seating arrangements. Wedding parties of 10 to 170 can be accommodated. Accommodation for thirty guests on the farm and 120 within a nine kilometer radius of us makes the possibility for a weekend wedding destination all the more probable. A bridal suite is prepared for the bride and groom’s return to their cottage on the night of the wedding and forms part of the overall package offered by the farm. The opportunity for a scrumptious post wedding breakfast makes for a nice closure to the events hosted throughout the weekend although the eyes can only feast on all that is on offer as the stomach will never get as far to tasting it all.
