A round of golf at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita offers a breathtaking tropical landscape, stunning ocean views, a choice of two world-class Jack Nicklaus designed courses and the world’s only natural island green – reached at high tide by an amphibious golf cart. PACIFICO GOLF COURSE: Spread over 200 acres, this course takes full advantage of its seaside location. At once challenging for experienced golfers and friendly for beginners, the course borders either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay, and offer views of whales during their seasonal migration. HOLE 3B THE "TAIL OF THE WHALE": The world’s only natural island green, it’s reached by the ball with a shot out into the Pacific, and by the golfer across a rocky pathway. The tee is located on the mainland; the green is on a natural island 199 yards offshore. At low tide players can walk, but as the ocean rises the hole is reached by an amphibious golf cart.
