About us
Yumotokan is a ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) located in Ohmi in Shiga Prefecture. Surrounded by mountains, the hotel features onsen (hot spring baths) and some stunning views of Lake Biwa- the largest lake in Japan. The Gesshin building has 25 guest rooms in a traditional Japanese style. We have 3 different types of dining room. Shougetsu has 8 individual spaces, Shousoutei has 7 small banquet halls for small groups (from 2 - 16 persons) and Kisshotei has three rooms- Matsu (Pine tree), Take (Banboo) and Ume (Plum). Our banquet hall is available for large parties and reservations.
