The former has a permanent collection that includes more than 200 paintings from the genius that have never been seen before and that were donated by Pablo Picasso´s family. On the other hand, the collection in the Carmen Thyssen Museum shows a rich ensemble of extraordinary coherence that begins with a series of pieces of old masters, Santa Marina de Zurbaran included, and continues with a series of chapters that allow us to establish solid tales of the genders that had the leading role in the 19th century Spanish paintings, with special emphasis on andalucian paintings. In the last years there have been many big projects that have turned Malaga into a cosmopolitan city with lots of art, music, culture, leisure, gastronomy, tradition and fashion.
