Midway between Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL lie the Golden Isles. Vast marshlands, winding rivers, nature and sports diversions, and miles of sun-drenched beaches beckon visitors and residents alike. Amid the lush natural beauty that has made this unspoiled corner of Georgia’s Colonial Coast so legendary, 180 holes of golf were created by some of the game’s most gifted architects. The area’s courses provide challenges for both the novice amateur and accomplished professional. Fishing, water sports, tennis courts, horseback trails and birding locales appeal to nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. And, because of our moderate temperatures, the unspoiled natural beauty of the Golden Isles can be enjoyed throughout the year. The Golden Isles Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for Glynn County, Georgia, including the City of Brunswick and four barrier islands: Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Sea Island and St. Simons Island
