Ideal both for business- and leisure travelers, the hotel lies just 18 Kms from the artistic treasures of Florence; 6 Kms from Prato and 3 Kms from its industrial district Macrolotto; 16 Kms fromPistoia and its tree nursery district; 12 Kms from Quarrata (renowned for the production of furniture). Our Hotel has 54 double/twin rooms, 2 quadruple rooms (fit for families of up to 4 people) and 2 junior suites. In a limited number of rooms a third bed can be added upon request. Moreover, it lies within short driving distance from Carmignano,the medieval village of Artimino and some of the best wineries and olive oil producers in the Montalbano region. This area used to be the site of many important Etruscan settlements, as testified by the ruins in Artimino, the Etruscan necropolis in Poggio alla Malva and the tombs of Comeana. Our hotel has two Dining Rooms. From their windows and terraces guests enjoy beautiful views of Florence and the surrounding hills. Guests enjoy breakfast (rich, continental buffet style) in our elegant main dining room. Both Dining Rooms seat up to 200 guests each. They can be reserved for banquets, wedding receptions, luncheons and other special events whose success is guaranteed by our staff's professionalism and extensive experience. Hotel has 3 meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 80 people for hosting private events, business meetings and conferences. Since 1970 the Hermitage has gained an excellent reputation for the organization of events of all kinds: weddings, 25th and 50th wedding anniversaries, baptisms, graduation and birthday parties. We also organize events for the business industry like luncheons, gala dinners and meetings.
