About us
78 Derngate is an important and award-winning historic house set in the heart of Northampton. Only one hour away from London and close to the MI, Northampton is a vibrant, eight hundred year old county town. Along with numerous other attractions within the town, 78 Derngate is a gem of a tourist attraction waiting to be discovered. 78 Derngate is not just a wonderful historic house. In our reception building at 82 Derngate there are two private function rooms that can be booked for daytime meetings and functions. The venue can also be hired outside of visitor opening hours for small parties and tour & dinner packages. The Dining Room restaurant accepts evening bookings for parties of up to 28 people for sit-down meals or slightly more for stand-up buffets and parties.
