Somersal is an idyllic Bed and Breakfast Accommodation / Wedding Venue perched on the banks of the Waipa River in Pirongia, Waikato - just 30 minutes north from the Waitomo Caves, 20 minutes from Hamilton and only 10 minutes drive from Te Awamutu. Pirongia Forest Park is home to many species of native plants and birds and several walking tracks crisscross the park, varying in length from 1 hour to 11 hours. Horse treks and four-wheel farmbike tours are also available. It has available four queen bedrooms (sleeps up to 10) with views out onto the garden or towards the mountain. It is also available as a Wedding Venue (with accommodation for up to 10).
