Sporten, (originally Frognerseteren Sportshall), is one of Oslo's biggest and most special banqueting rooms with a capacity of over 200 people. Sporten has for many years been a banqueting room for the restaurant at Frognerseteren, but from now on it will be run separately by Sult Restaurants. Sporten was built in 1896 for athletic people who would take trips along the mountain tracks in the summer and out doing winter sports in the winter, as a supplement to Frognerseteren when it was "overtaken" by the wealthy elite and did not end up being the place it was intended to be by the Oslo municipality.
