Quinta Perestrello is a lovely little hotel in a truly privileged position. Tasteful and sympathetic modernisation has certainly not diminished the unique charm and welcoming ambience that is usually associated with these historic old manor house hotels. The manor house, surrounded by lovingly maintained gardens, was carefully restored and the high ceilings of the rooms as well as the furnishings still reflect Madeira’s traditional architecture and interior decorating style of the old days.
