The Algonquin Hotel is a picturesque, designated landmark positioned in the heart of NYC with close proximity to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall and scenic Bryant Park. Situated on Manhattan’s West 44th Street between 5th & 6th Avenue, the historic hotel originally opened in 1902 where it has continually earned a reputation for its warmth and deep rooted history. Beyond exquisite amenities that include 181 luxury guestrooms, 24 suites, a 24 hour fitness center, the legendary hotel introduced a renovated and re-imagined lobby along with the infamous “Blue Bar” and “The Oak Room,” a private event space that will present as refreshing enhancements to both corporate and leisure travelers while becoming more attractive to intimate meetings and events. In concert with these updates, the tradition, history, and character of The Algonquin is felt throughout the hotel's fine art pieces by the renowned Hirschfeld, photos of Helen Hayes, the “First lady of American Theater,” whose namesake theater neighbors the hotel, and original architectural details making our historic property a welcome respite in arm's distance of all major midtown attractions and office locations.
