Getting Here

To get from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) to The Barnett, you have several transportation options: Taxi or Ride-Sharing Services: Taxi: Available at the airport. The fare to downtown New Orleans is approximately $36 for one or two passengers and $15 per person for three or more passengers. Uber/Lyft: Both services are available and typically cost between $30-$45, depending on traffic and demand. Airport Shuttle: New Orleans: A shared shuttle service available at the airport. It costs around $24 one way and $44 round trip per person. You can book tickets at the airport shuttle kiosk or online in advance. Public Transportation: Jefferson Transit E2 Line: This bus line runs from the airport to the downtown area. The fare is $2.00, and it takes about an hour to reach downtown, depending on traffic. You would need to walk a bit or take a short taxi/ride-share ride to The Barnett from the bus stop. Car Rental: Various car rental companies operate at the airport. You can rent a car and drive to The Barnett, which is about a 20-minute drive (15 miles) via I-10 East. The hotel offers valet parking for guests. Directions by Car: From Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), head northeast on Airport Road. Take the ramp on the left onto I-10 E. Follow I-10 E to Poydras Street in New Orleans. Take exit 234B from I-10 E. Continue on Poydras Street. Drive to Carondelet Street. Turn right onto Carondelet Street. The Barnett will be on your left at 600 Carondelet Street. Choose the option that best fits your budget and time preferences.
