The KKL Luzern (Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne), designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel, is located directly on the shore of the picturesque Lake Lucerne in the heart of Switzerland. It features state-of-the-art facilities for concerts, conventions, gala dinners, hospitality events, product launches and meetings. 600 national and international events in the fields of culture, business, science, and education take place in the KKL Luzern every year, delighting around 500,000 visitors a year with the unique combination of concerts, congresses and culinary delights. The team of knowledgeable event experts guarantee a smooth organisation and a perfect event experience. Thanks to its location a mere 100 steps from the railway station of Lucerne and quick access to Zurich Airport within one hour by train, the KKL Luzern is the ideal venue for events in central Switzerland. It also lies within walking distance of all main sights, such as the picturesque historic city centre and the main hotels in the city of Lucerne. The showpiece of the KKL Luzern is its renowned Concert Hall with acoustics that provide incredible sound and inspire the world`s leading conductors, orchestras, and soloists to perform at their best. It also offers a variety of options for hosting conferences. Two water canals frame the Lucerne Hall, a venue that is also unique in its adaptability and convertible for 200 up to 1’800 guests. It can be used for a variety of settings including product presentations, congresses, concerts and banquets. With its appropriate audio-visual facilities, variable height staging and mobile rostrum, all combined with the deliberately simple design of the hall, the organizer will find creative freedom to style the event. Besides the Concert Hall and the Lucerne Hall, the two largest venues, you have countless room options for breakouts or smaller meetings. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia and light event technology. Furthermore, all event catering is done by our in-house culinary team. In addition to technology and catering, the KKL Luzern offers an integrated range of services including infrastructure, ticketing, guest services, and security.
