About us
Loughborough campus is one of the UK's largest and most extensive single conference sites. The 410 acre site features over 90 first-class meeting rooms and can cater for up to 2000 delegates. The campus provides the perfect backdrop for all types of events for up to 2000 delegates. Facilities range from well-equipped lecture theatres, high specification conference rooms, versatile exhibition spaces and banqueting facilities for up to 600 guests. There are 400 quality bedrooms available at Easter and 2,500 bedrooms available during the summer period. In addition there are two premier hotels located close by with a limited number of bedrooms en-suite accommodation available. The University is also renowned for being the UK sporting capital and offers world class sport and leisure facilities for deletes. In 2012 Loughborough University was the official preparation camp for Team GB. Renowned for its world-class sporting venues Loughborough University boasts a range of first-class facilities including an Olympic swimming pool, indoor tennis, badminton and netball centre, sports hall, football pitches and an athletics stadium. Conveniently located in the heart of the Midlands, just one mile from junction 23 of the M1, three miles from Loughborough Mainline Station, and eight miles from East Midlands Airport, altogether makes Loughborough University the perfect place for delegates to come together.
