Facing the Grand Canal and Piazzale Roma, Santa Chiara Hotel is situated in an ancient and more than 500 years old palace. Professionalism of a great and modern hotel, together with the ancient and refined tradition of hospitality, make the Santa Chiara Hotel the ideal place to stay in while in Venice, and where cordiality, friendliness and helpfulness will help to satisfy any of your needs and discover the charm and the mystery of a city praised by writers and poets all over the world. When you enter, you discover the interior décor in a perfect Venetian style: the attention is captured by the Murano glass chandeliers, precious fabrics and antique furniture. There is the reception on the right and a small lounge on the left. Further along, there is the bar and the breakfast room, both overlooking the Grand Canal and a very Venetian Santa Chiara embankment. The hotel offers 40 sleeping rooms and 2 meeting rooms.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
