Flatland Gallery is a Dutch contemporary art gallery founded in 1983 by Martin Rogge. The gallery is internationally acclaimed (especially) in the field of contemporary photography and with a growing/burgeoning reputation for film, video, installations, sculptures and drawings. Situated in a former school building on the site of a 15th century cloister in Utrecht, Netherlands, Flatland Gallery includes 350 square meters of four exhibition spaces, defined by high ceilings and skylights. In 2007 Flatland Gallery opened an office and viewing space in Paris, on the edge of the Marais and the artistic Oberkampf area, adding an additional 300 square meters to its exhibition space. Flatland Paris is located in the gallery of Gallery Magda Danysz, a contemporary and highly credited Parisian gallery whose focus is digital, urban and visual art.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the Netherlands' main international airport, located 20 minutes southwest of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. The main attractions at the Railway Museum are the 'Worlds', immensely high studios in which trains play a prominent role. Each world has its own theme and is an experience in itself. The world of Black Magic begins in the steam era against a backdrop of English cottages. In the guise of an audio tour, the very first Dutch train driver tells visitors the story of how it all started. La Belle Époque focuses on travels to far off places on the Orient Express. Actors bring the era to life. In the third attraction, the visitors themselves step into a carriage and are ridden along, between and under the imposing locomotives. World 4 incorporate the sights and sounds of the workshop, where numerous carriages and locos are being repaired and maintained.

Get to know your inner scientist at the Universiteitsmuseum Utrecht (Utrecht University Museum). At the museum you will experience the differences between science now and in bygone days. Put on a lab coat and carry out experiments or investigate the similarities between humans and animals. The Oude Hortus is the old botanical garden of Utrecht, and is a relaxing place in the middle of the city center.
