World Port Center is a 33-story, 123.1 m (404 ft) skyscraper in Rotterdam. Sir Norman Foster designed the 32-story building. This British architect gained international fame with his designs for the London Stansted Airport, the Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank in Hong Kong, the extension of the Reichstag building in Berlin and the 259 m (850 ft) Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt. In 1992 he designed the master plan of the entire Wilhelminapier, where the World Port Centre is standing.

The Netherlands Photo Museum is a museum in the Netherlands primarily focused on photography. The museum collection consists of many historical, social and cultural images from the 20th and 21st century, from the Netherlands and elsewhere. It has control over more than 150 archives (three million plus images) taken by Dutch photographers. The archives are stored in climate-controlled film storage facilities. It is located in Rotterdam at the Wilhelminakade[2] in the previous Holland America Line workshop building, also known as the Las Palmas building. The Netherlands Photo Museum was founded in 1989, under the name Nederlands Foto Archief. and was subsidised by the Dutch government. The museum has large exhibition rooms and a rotating display of Dutch history.
