Cape Elizabeth is the home of Portland Head Light. Situated along the spectacular shores of Fort Williams Park, at 1000 Shore Road, the popular landmark is owned and managed by the Town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The Museum at Portland Head Light is contained within the former Keepers' Quarters. The award-winning Museum contains a number of lighthouse lenses and interpretative displays.

Fort Williams Park is a 90-acre, town-owned and operated oceanfront park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The Park has a significant marine and military history reflected in the mosaic of historic relics within a variety of natural and designed landscapes, including a beach, tidal pools, rocky cliffs, sunny lawns, woodlands, historic oak groves, shrub thickets, pollinator gardens, and a pond – all within earshot of rolling surf and with views towards the islands of Casco Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Only 5 miles and a 15-minute drive from the center of Portland, Maine, Fort Williams Park is readily available and freely accessible to all of the 513,102 people who live within Greater Portland. This includes an urban agglomeration of 203,914 people – many who otherwise have little access to the coastline. The Park welcomes over 800,000 visitors each year from all over the world; about 45% from New England with the rest coming from elsewhere in the United States, Canada and around the world. Park officials estimate that 40% of all visitors are children.

The Westbrook Performing Arts Center aims to provide multi-faceted, self-sustaining educational and cultural enrichment opportunities for our local and regional communities. The vision of the WPAC is to be a creative base for enriching the imagination of our young, inspiring and expanding the lives of our adults, and attracting established and emerging artists.

Crescent Beach State Park opened in 1966 and offers bathing in the surf or in the sun at one of Maine's finest beaches. There are picnic tables and grills, a children's playground, a snack bar, and a bathhouse with cold-water showers. Kettle Cove State Park, located adjacent to Crescent Beach State Park, offers beautiful coastal views and a walking trail around the cove. Sandy oceanfront beaches, saltwater coves, wooded areas, and rock ledges provide seashore recreation for beachgoers, fishing and watersports enthusiasts, and nature observers. Crescent Beach State Park is a classic saltwater beach park with American beachgrass-studded sand dunes, ocean breezes, herring gulls, picnic areas and views of fishing boats and an offshore island. The park's signature feature and namesake is a mile-long, crescent-shaped beach ideal for strolling and sunbathing, where relatively warm waters and light surf make swimming and boating a pleasure. A few feet from the crowded summer sands are trails for walking and nature watching. In the off-season when the park is closed to vehicles, walkers are welcome to enjoy the tranquility of the beaches and trails. In the winter, visitors can hike or cross-country ski on paths under a canopy of snow-covered evergreen boughs.

An entertainment facility that would bring the Nation’s biggest stars and best entertainment to the people of Maine. Also is home to the Portland Pirates, the AHL affiliate team for the Phoenix Coyotes.
