Built by the Multnomah Athletic Club in 1926 and acquired by the City in 1966, Providence Park Stadium is known today as home to the Portland Thorns and Portland Timbers. Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls boasts a 611 foot tall two drop roaring cascade, and is continuously fed by snowmelt and rain. Oregon’s tallest waterfall is only a 30 minute drive east of Portland through the Columbia River Gorge. A ¼ mile hike brings you to the Benson Bridge, named after the owner of the falls’ in the early 1900’s prior to giving the falls to the City of Portland. Continuing on the trail is a 1.1 mile hike to the top of the falls with a gorgeous view of the Columbia River Gorge as well as connections to other hikes in the area. It can get chilly on the cool trail in the wetter months.
