The Roxy Hotel lives in a triangular, red brick building that favors clean classic lines with bold punctuations of color. Its signature cast-iron detailing was inspired by the industrial materials that appear throughout Tribeca, and the glowing, Art Deco-style marquee evokes the city’s love affair with entertainment. Out front, the iconic, cast-iron clock is a nod to the towering, turn-of-the-century timepieces sprinkled throughout New York. Inside, the feeling is tranquil with glimmers of Regency and Art Deco. The 10,000-square- foot central atrium offers a dramatic vaulted core reminiscent of grand cathedrals and Hitchcockian mid-20th century buildings like the old Penn Station or the Singer Building.
