Lausanne Cathedral is the largest Gothic building in Switzerland. The Cathedral of Notre Dame of Lausanne is a Roman Catholic Church, which was built on the hill of the old town and overlooks Lake Geneva. The sandstone construction began around 1150 and the majority of the building was probably completed around 1232.
