The Francuski Hotel (The French Hotel), which opened on 1 April 1912, has just reached its first centenary, having set an example of hospitality not only in Krakow but also in Poland. It is located in the Old Town, just 100 meters from the Market Square. It has 42 comfortably furnished rooms: 4 single rooms, 23 double rooms and 15 suites. The restaurant operating here since the opening day boasts an extraordinary fame. The hotel also offers stylish interior of the Olympic hall which is a perfect place for small intimate meetings. The room owes its name to the Polish Olympic Committee, which was founded in the Francuski Hotel in 1919, and which holds its board meeting in here till this very day.
