Bruma is one of the largest commercial and manufacturing zones with a concentration of head offices, factories and warehouses. It is easily accessible from OR Tambo International via the R24. Retail development is significant with Eastgate Mall and surrounding outlets providing an attraction to residents and out of town visitors. The Don Eastgate is situated on the Lake and offers easy access to the main commercial and retail areas, the airport and the CBD. There is a R90 million development plan for Bruma Lake incorporating a commercial and tourism hub, a cultural centre to be named Gauteng Park and a residential component. This will greatly enhance the environment surrounding the hotels and will further assist the positioning of the Don.
