Cancellation Policy

21.1 Cancelation procedures for Banqueting and Events: a. Cancellation for Banqueting Event by the Organiser Cancellation of the Event must be sent to Waldorf Astoria in writing and is subject to the approval by Waldorf Astoria of receiving of such notification, in writing. The following cancellation charges for the reserved Banqueting event will apply if the entire Event is cancelled. • Between signage of the contract and 6 months prior to the event start date 10% of the total estimated charges, as outlined in the billing section of the Agreement for Banqueting. • Between 6 months until 3 month prior the event 30% of the total estimated charges of the total estimated charges, as outlined in the billing section of the Agreement for Banqueting. • Between 3 months until 1 month prior the event 70% of the total estimated charges of the total estimated charges, as outlined in the billing section of the Agreement for Banqueting. • Between 1 month and the actual event start date 100% of the total estimated charges, as outlined in the billing section of the Agreement for Banqueting. b. “The total estimated charge” for purposes of these paragraphs will be calculated on the basis of the number of persons actually present or the Guaranteed Number , as stated hereinafter, whichever is the higher, multiplied by the price agreed to above per person, where same is linked as aforesaid. c. “The overall amount” for purposes of these paragraphs will be calculated on the basis of the number of persons present specified above in this letter or on the basis of the guaranteed number of persons present, as stated above in this letter, whichever is the higher, multiplied by the price agreed to above per head, where same is linked as aforesaid. d. The Hotel will be entitled to confiscate and/or to set-off the aforesaid advance payments and moneys from any amount which the Customer or anyone on his behalf shall be entitled to receive from the Hotel, if any.

Pets Not allowed Outside Catering not allowed Rates are subject to 17% VAT per Israeli law. Tourists as defined by Israeli law (holders of a diplomatic passport or foreign passport and a 3-month tourist staying permit [B/2/3/4]), who are registered guests at the hotel, are exempt of VAT payment for hotel accommodations and hotel-related services (as defined by Israeli law). Guests without a valid entry permit will be charged VAT as defined by Israeli law (VAT rate may change without notice, subject to Israeli law).
