About us
Newmillerdam Boathouse at Newmillerdam Country Park is situated 3.5 miles to the south of Wakefield on the A61 (Barnsley Road). The site comprises an area of 95 hectares with a central lake (the Dam) surrounded by a level surfaced path as well as the surrounding broadleaved and coniferous woodland located on the slopes. The Boathouse is available for hire as an unusual meeting venue in a very relaxing and natural setting.
