The downtown Sacramento Convention Center Complex is a part of the City of Sacramento Convention & Cultural Services department. The Complex is made up of the Convention Center, which has over 137,000 square feet of exhibit space, 31 meeting rooms, including a 24,000 square foot ballroom, the 2,398 seat Community Center Theater, and the 3,849 seat Memorial Auditorium, which houses the 272 seat Jean Runyon Little Theater.

10 soccer fields are found in this athletic complex along with a concession stand & picnic area.

At the State Capitol, the past, present and future of California interact with equal force. The building serves as both a museum and the state’s working seat of government. Due to past and current efforts by the State of California, private and public museums, individuals, business, the City and County of Sacramento, the Historic Old Sacramento Foundations, scores of volunteers, and many others, Old Sacramento lives on as thriving shopping and entertainment district as well as a global tourist destination.

Open since 1927, the Sacramento Zoo is home to over 140 native, rare and endangered species and is one of over 200 accredited institutions of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Zoo is wholly managed by the nonprofit Sacramento Zoological Society and inspires conservation awareness through education and recreation.
