Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a non-profit organization, folk art environment, and gallery space on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To date, it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth.

Philadelphia’s iconic John F. Kennedy Plaza — better known as LOVE Park — is most famously the home of Robert Indiana’s iconic (and highly Instagrammable!) LOVE statue, which has resided in the space almost continuously since 1976. But that essential piece of Philly public art is just one of many things to explore and enjoy at this Center City West space, which also offers green areas, a fountain, walking paths, seating and the LOVE Park Visitor Center, which opened in May 2021.

Like many other Philadelphia landmarks and institutions, Philadelphia Zoo is an American first. The charter establishing the Zoological Society of Philadelphia was approved and signed on March 21, 1859. Due to the Civil War, however, it was another 15 years before America's first zoo was ready to open on July 1, 1874.

Philadelphia’s Italian Market, which runs along approximately ten city blocks of Ninth Street in South Philadelphia, is one of the oldest and largest open-air markets in America. Dozens of vendors line the street, selling the freshest vegetables, fish, meats, spices and produce from their stalls, while gourmet shops and restaurants occupy storefronts in between. These butcher shops, bakeries and other specialty shops are throwbacks to another time, long before the advent of supermarkets. Shoppers truly marvel at the amazing array of products on display — and at the whole experience of it all.

The Franklin Institute is a science museum and the center of science education and research in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is named after the American scientist and statesman Benjamin Franklin, and houses the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial. Founded in 1824, the Franklin Institute is one of the oldest centers of science education and development in the United States

Independence Hall is the birthplace of the United States. In 1776, the Second Continental Congress signed the Declaration of Independence here. Eleven years later, delegates to the Constitutional Convention drafted and signed the United States Constitution in the same room.

One Liberty Observation Deck, which opened in November 2015, provides Philadelphia with panoramic bird’s-eye views of the city from the 57th floor of One Liberty Place in downtown Philadelphia.
