The America Hall, Pinhoe’s Community Centre, was built with funds donated by the families and friends of American Service persons who were stationed here during the Second World War. The Hall itself is a large hall with a stage. It has a sprung wooden floor and is suitable for all your functions. It is an ideal venue for Conferences, Wedding Receptions and parties of all types. It is fitted with a large and amply equipped kitchen and a ramped access to the building. It is capable of seating up to 200 people for events such as theatrical productions. The large raised stage has been used to accommodate many different types of musical events including Police Band Concert and on one occasion the famous international rock band ‘Motorhead’. Also, adjacent and connected to America Hall, the Sunnylands Room can be used in conjunction with or as a separate venue from the main hall. Officially opened on the 1st April 2000, this small meeting venue has its own separate access and is suitable for up to 40 people.
