The Liberation Tower is the second tallest tower in Kuwait and the fifth tallest telecommunication tower in the world. It is the symbol of Kuwaiti Liberation and represents the country's resurgence. Officially unveiled by the late Kuwaiti Amir, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on 10th March 1996, the tower is 372m tall, which is 40m taller than the Eiffel Tower. The Liberation Tower is so-named following the multinational coalition that led to the liberation of the nation from seven months of Iraqi occupation during the Gulf war. History Originally intended to be named The Kuwait Telecommunications Tower, construction of the tower commenced before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait on August 2, 1990. When the invasion took place, construction, which was almost halfway complete, was put on hold. However, the structure received no damage, and construction resumed after Iraqi forces were expelled on February 27, 1991. Upon completion in 1993, the tower was renamed the Liberation Tower, symbolizing Kuwait's liberation from Iraq.

The House of Mirrors or Mirror House, also known as the Khalifa & Lidia Qattan Art Museum is the residence of Artists Khalifa Qattan and his wife Lidia Qattan, both intellectual and pioneer artists in their field. The creator of the Mirror House, Lidia, is an Italian-born artist and writer who moved to Kuwait when she married her husband Khalifa. She began her project of single-handedly transforming their home into a fantastic work of art in 1966. The project was worked on intermittently until its completion in 2006. The exterior walls of the house are covered with murals of mirror mosaic, each design symbolizing a meaning. The interior ground floor is completely covered in mirror mosaic from floors to walls, to ceilings, with each room carrying a theme such as the "Planet Earth" Hall, the "Zodiac" Hall, the "Universe" Hall, the "Knowledge" Hall, "My World" Hall, "Corridor of the Nations", the "Shark Basin", "Sea World" Hall, and "Stairs to Inspiration". The first floor is the Qattan's Art Gallery. In Khalifa Qattan's section are such themes as "The Egg" or "Evolution", "The Apple" or "Sex and it's implications on the family and society", "Women I Saw" and "The Prophesy" or "The Iraqi Invasion on Kuwait and it's aftermath". In Lidia Qattan's section are the "Art Therapy" Gallery, "Women and Society" Gallery, "Experimental" Gallery, "The Art of Recycling" Gallery, and "The Galaxy Journey" Gallery. The tour ends again on the ground floor through the elevator to the Shopping Gallery where Lidia's paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and books can be purchased.

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre (JACC), informally known as the Kuwait Opera House, is a cultural center in Kuwait, located on the Gulf Road in the capital Kuwait City. It is the largest cultural center and opera house in the Middle East. The cultural center is part of the new Kuwait National Cultural District. The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre is a multidisciplinary public space owned by Amiri Diwan. It offers a range of events in music, theatre, film, workshops, and spoken word. The cultural complex, which includes theatres, concert halls, music centers, conference and exhibition halls, cinemas, libraries, center for historical documents, and public park, took two years to complete. It is 214,000 m² in size and had a budget of US$775 million.

The Avenues Mall is the largest shopping mall in Kuwait. The mall is located in the Rai area extending from Fifth Ring Road from the south and Al Ghazali Highway from the east. It opened in April 2007, under the patronage of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah. It was the winner of the ICSC Gold Award for “Best Shopping Center 2013” under the Expansion and Design Category in the Middle East & North Africa. It features more than 1,000 stores and parking that fits over 10,000 cars.
