At the 3rd light, turn left onto Alvernon Rd which will curve and become Golf Links Rd. From Golf links turn left on Swan Rd. Stay on Swan for about 4 miles. When you reach Grant Rd turn right. It has evolved into "the largest aircraft boneyard in the world".
With the area's low humidity in the 10%-20% range, meager rainfall of 11" annually, hard alkaline soil, and high altitude of 2,550 feet allowing the aircraft to be naturally preserved for cannibalization or possible reuse, Davis-Monthan is the logical choice for a major storage facility.

The mission of Tohono Chul is to connect people with the nature, art and culture of the Sonoran Desert region.
The 49-acre site offers a setting for Tohono Chul's regional focus. Overlooking the Santa Catalina Mountains, the park is located in a natural desert habitat within existing migratory tracks of several species of native fauna. Thirty-eight species of birds make their permanent home in the park while another 57 migrant species visit seasonally, and a variety of reptiles and mammals, from Gila monsters to bobcats, may be spotted on the grounds.
In 2008, Travel+Leisure Magazine named Tohono Chul one of the Great Botanical Gardens of the World.
