With its interactive concept, it offers interesting information about the history and development of Thun. The five large halls of the tower (dungeon) on the upper floors house valuable exhibits and stunning artefacts relating to the history and culture of the castle and the town of Thun during the Middle Ages. The crowning glory of the castle is the Knights Hall – the best-preserved ceremonial hall of the Late Middle Ages in Switzerland. When you reach the towers, your stair-climbing efforts are richly rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun.
