In the eleventh generation Hotel Plankenhof was owned by the Enzenberg family. In its early days it was an inn, where hundreds of horses were parked in exchange for carriages and wagons in the heyday of silver mining in Schwaz. It has a ballroom for up to 250 people with an atmospheric setting. The Plankenhof has comfortable rooms according to international 4 star standards.
