The iconic Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is conveniently located minutes from John Wayne Airport in Orange County and Is adjacent to the Upper Newport Beach Nature Reserve, Back Bay View Park and the Back Bay Science Center. Nestled amongst 26 acres of plush and mature landscaping, and a recently added succulent garden, the property is a toast to the Southern California topography creating a refreshing atmosphere for all of those that visit. Renowned locally as ‘The Newporter,' the hotel’s team has been creating memories for over five decades for conference attendees and guests alike. Built in the 1960’s and boasting the classic California low-profile architecture associated with that era, Hyatt Regency Newport Beach was the original luxury hotel in the area and hosted many visiting celebrities and notables, from Hollywood’s elite to Presidential cabinet members. Today, we would consider ourselves a landmark. The perfect location for a meeting/conference/convention that could include team building experiences with golf and tennis facilities on property, hiking trails and bicycle course though the Back Bay, as well as water sports and boating activities at nearby Newport Harbor, Southern California’s largest recreational harbor. The property provides outdoor dining spaces and banquet facilities for a ballroom awards ceremony or formal plated dinner or buffet. The hotel also has a full service restaurant, Shor and lobby bar. In addition, the hotel has hosted the acclaimed Newport Beach Jazz Festival and Summer Concert Series for more than 25 years.
