Buffalo City Hall

Built between 1929 and 1931, the 32-story Buffalo City Hall is an Art Deco masterpiece and Buffalo landmark. This architectural gem features beautiful lobby murals depicting the city's history and industry; exquisite skylights and sculptures in the 13th floor's Common Council Chamber; and 100-foot-long sandstone friezes. The building's Observation Tower, open to the public, features a spectacular 360-degree view of the entire city. The Observation Tower is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Admission to the observation deck is free.

Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens

The Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens is the product of three extraordinary visionaries: landscaping architect Fredrick Law Olmsted, architects Lord & Burnham and botanist / plant-explorer John F.
