L'EURAC Convention Center si trova nel cuore delle Dolomiti incontaminate, una delle regioni più attente all'ambiente in Europa. Questo edificio «verde» è stato progettato per ridurre al minimo l'impatto ambientale di tutti gli eventi che si svolgono al centro. Situato nel centro della città, Eurac è raggiungibile rapidamente dalla maggior parte dei principali hotel a piedi o in bicicletta, oltre ad essere facilmente raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici ecologici. Eventi come conferenze, convegni e corsi hanno un impatto sull'ambiente. I partecipanti in genere devono percorrere lunghe distanze, con conseguente aumento delle emissioni di anidride carbonica. Inoltre, vengono consumate enormi quantità di carta, acqua ed elettricità. In qualità di organizzatore di riunioni ecologiche, il centro congressi EURAC è impegnato nell'uso responsabile delle risorse naturali per il bene dell'ambiente.
