The Old Bridge is a handsome, ivy-clad, 18th century townhouse hotel. It sits on the banks of the River Ouse, but also on the edge of the town centre. Its atmosphere balances that of a professionally run 'boutique' hotel and a relaxed, bustling inn; a popular destination for both the local community and visitors to the area. We believe guests come to the hotel because they like the food and service, the atmosphere, the location. But within the hotel is a fully equipped and separately staffed Business Centre. We specialize in small meetings for 2-18 executives but also have a Conference Room that seats 50. All rooms are air-conditioned. The private Riverside patio is a great space for a break-out meeting or some clear-the-air thinking. Whether it is an intimate occasion, or a small party in the Dining Room, or a larger celebration for up to 110 guests in the Terrace Restaurant. We offer a combination of beautiful 18th century architecture and a riverside location, exceptional food and wine, personal service - all at an extremely competitive price. We can also hold Civil Marriage ceremonies on the premises.
