In 2015, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was China's third-busiest and world's 17th-busiest airport by passenger traffic, with 55,201,915 passengers handled. As for cargo traffic, the airport was China's third-busiest and the 19th-busiest worldwide. Baiyun airport was also the third-busiest airport in China in terms of aircraft movements.

The East Train Station is made up of the square, the terminal building, and two tower buildings.
The station mainly operates bullet trains (C Types) to Shenzhen and ordinary ones to Meizhou, Shantou, Xiamen, Beijing, Harbin, Changchun, Chengdu and other cities. It is also the terminal station for the Guangzhou–Hong Kong Through Train.
The square in front of the terminal building has three levels. The elevated level is for pedestrians, the ground level for motor vehicles and the underground for bus stops, parking and subway station. There are also restaurants (like Starbucks & McDonald), hotels and shops in or around the square.

Tianhe Sports Centre Stadium, mostly known as Tianhe Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, China. It is currently used mostly for football games.
Tianhe Stadium was broken ground on 4 July 1984 at the former site of Tianhe Airport.It was opened in 1987 for the 1987 National Games of China.It hosted the final of the inaugural FIFA Women's World Cup in 1991. The stadium has hosted large crowds and attendances of local football team Guangzhou Evergrande are played at the stadium.
On February 7, 1989 Lunar New Year, Hong Kong Television Broadcasts Limited and Guangdong Television Broadcasts Limited were situated in the Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Centre and at the White Swan Hotel for the Chinese New Year Celebration in Guangzhou. The stadium hosted the football finals of the 2010 Asian Games and final match of AFC Champions League twice (2013 and 2015).
The stadium is best reached by taking Guangzhou Metro Line 1 to Tianhe Sports Center Station (East Gate), Line 3 to Linhexi Station (North Gate) and Line 1 or 3 to Tiyu Xilu Station (West Gate and South Gate).
