About us
Chequers at Woolsthorpe is a 17th century country dining pub situated in the unspoilt Vale of Belvoir where the counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire meet amidst rolling green hills and picture postcard villages. The quintessential English inn, the Chequers welcomes you with roaring log fires and a cosy atmosphere in the winter whilst the summer offers a pretty garden for al fresco dining with views of Belvoir Castle just a stone's throw away. The Chequers offers great flexibility for private parties and corporate events. Our contemporary restaurant offers the largest space and is suitable for dinner up to 85 guests, 70 for a sit down buffet or up to 200 for a party and fork/finger buffet.
