Central Fukuoka is only 20 minutes by car from Hakata. Located in the "Umi no Nakamichi Kaihin National Park" and surrounded by the ocean and greenery, it is a residence type luxury resort hotel in which all units have ocean views. With the warm hospitality for which Japan is known worldwide, the hotel has in abundance the essence of "hotel relaxation". With a beautiful, unchanging natural backdrop provided by the Genkai National Park, the hotel in this much-loved location has a total of 98 guest rooms, all with southern exposure and ocean views. Opening a window admits the sound of the waves from the nearby sea. Spaces are carefully designed to maximise the warm, soothing effect of natural sunlight, and the concept of the interiors is "orthodox and authentic" as inspired by (and specially ordered from) Mexico. Led by the gourmet fusion cuisine of the "Pacific Grill," our restaurants accommodate a wide range of tastes including sushi, tempura and teppanyaki.

The Luigans is located in Hakata Bay, and lies just across the water from Fukuoka's urban area, with it's concentration of corporate branches and major commercial installations. The connecting road runs along a giant sandbar. With easy access to the nearby public parks, golf courses and many other recreational facilities. Fukuoka is a popular city.
