CHANGDEOKGUNG PALACE

Changdeokgung is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897). As it is located east of Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeokgung along with Changgyeonggung is also referred to as the "East Palace. Changdeokgung was the most favored palace of many Joseon princes and retained many elements dating from the Three Kingdoms of Korea period that were not incorporated in the more contemporary Gyeongbokgung.

Coex Convention & Exhibition Center is one of South Korea's largest convention and exhibition centers. It was designed by Larry Oltmanns who was a Design Partner with SOM at the time. The four-story center has four exhibition halls and 48 meeting rooms. It is operated by Coex Co. Ltd. Situated on Teheranno in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu district of Seoul, the site is part of the COEX complex which includes the convention and exhibition center, the COEX Mall, three luxury hotels, an urban airport terminal, a multiplex cinema, the COEX Aquarium, CoexArtium Theater, ASEM Tower and the Seven Luck Casino. Up to 200,000 people visit it for work and shop every day.

HAENGJUSANSEONG FORTRESS

The Haengjusanseong Fortress atop Deogyangsan Mountain was the site of a major Korean victory against the enemy during the Japanese invasion 400 years ago. The original date and purpose of the Fortress’ construction remains a mystery, but it is believed the construction dates back to the ancient Baekje period, as many relics from that era have been excavated by archeological surveys. Inside the fortress is Chungjangsa, a shrine paying tribute to General Gwon Yul who led the victorious effort.

GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE

Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeongheegung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. Remarkably, the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeonghoe-ru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pond, have remained relatively intact. Woldae and the sculptures of Geunjeongjeon (The Royal Audience Chamber) represent past sculptures of contemporary art.

DMZ or demilitarized zone (sometimes referred to as a perimeter network) is a physical or logical subnetwork that contains and exposes an organization's external-facing services to a larger and untrusted network, usually the Internet. The purpose of a DMZ is to add an additional layer of security to an organization's local area network (LAN); an external network node only has direct access to equipment in the DMZ, rather than any other part of the network. DEOKSUGUNG PALACE

Located at the corner of Seoul's busiest downtown intersection, Deoksugung Palace is famous for its elegant stone-wall road. It is also the only palace that sits alongside a series of western style buildings that add to the uniqueness of the surrounding scenery. Deoksugung Palace originally belonged to Wolsandaegun (1454-1488), the older brother of King Seongjong (1469-1494) of the Joseon Dynasty. It became a proper palace when Gwanghaegun (1575-1641) ascended to the throne and gave the palace the name Gyeongungung in 1611. Afterwards, the name was then changed back to its orginal title of Deoksugung.

The Heojun Museum first opened on March 23, 2005 in honor of academic accomplishments and charitable deeds of the renowned medical scientist, Heojun of the middle century Joseon Dynasty. In addition, there is Heojun Park and Heogabawi Rock, which are situated beside the museum.
