Emperor’s Kitchen in New Delhi is located at the One Qutab, and is crafted to perfection. The plush tents on the first floor offer a special terrace grill menu. An eclectic dessert, coffee and tea bar awaits you through the day with a proper focus on the high tea menu, for those who may wish to take a well deserved break from the nearby shopping. At Emperors kitchen, the scene is as vibrant as the cuisine. The food philosophy operating behind Emperor’s Kitchen is as simple as it is daring— Serious food in a dazzling ambiance. Each part of the restaurant menu provides a bountiful feast for, not just one or two, but all five of the senses. We started with two very simple structures, sheds really, for decades serving as host houses serving the needs of weary travelers, serving them piping hot chai and simple snacks. But a building has a soul which it never looses, a soul which in fact over time develops and grows. And the brief? ‘To create a space which inspires greatness, that breathes the fresh air of centuries and that rewards lavishly with the most sumptuous culinary and visual delights.
