Take Zigh-Airport Highway in the south direction. The road will curve to travel west. The highway will continue straight onto Nobel Avenue. Once you come to the Catholic Church, turn left then turn right and take an immediate right onto Afiyaddin Jalilov street. Cross the bridge and continue onto Uzeyir Hajibeyov street. Turn left on the first traffic light onto Kovkap Safaraliyeva street. Drive 100 m. Turn left to Neftchiler Avenue. Continue on Neftchiler Avenue. The hotel is on the right side.

The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2 (619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

Little Venice is an area within Baku Boulevard that is made up of man-made waterways. It was built in 1960 but was later expanded in 2012 and consists of a labyrinth of canals interspersed with islands that are connected by stone bridges complete with gondolas plying the canals. It was out of season and the canals were being dredged when we visited in November 2019. Little Venice isn't meant to be strictly authentic but it is a fun activity along Baku Boulevard.

The theater was built in 1910 by a famous architect named Nikolai Bayev and, as with other examples of Azerbaijani architecture from the beginning of the 20th century, it blends elements of baroque, rococo, and Moorish styles. This building is closely connected with the development of Azerbaijani opera, which began in 1908 with the first opera in the Muslim East – Leyli and Majnun – composed by one of the finest composers of the 20th century and the founder of Azerbaijani classical music, Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum was established in accordance with decree No. 130 of the Council of Ministers of the Azerbaijan SSR dated March 13, 1967. From 1967 to 1993, the museum was called the Azerbaijan State Museum of Carpet and Folk Applied Arts, from 1993 to 2014 – State Museum of Carpet and Applied Arts named after Latif Karimov, from 2014 to 2019 – Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, and from 2019 to the present – Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.

The Maiden Tower

The Maiden Tower (Azerbaijani: Qız Qalası) is a 12th-century monument in the Old City, Baku, Azerbaijan. Along with the Shirvanshahs' Palace, dated to the 15th century, it forms a group of historic monuments listed in 2001 under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments as cultural property, Category III. It is one of Azerbaijan's most distinctive national emblems and is thus featured on Azeri currency notes and official letterheads. The Maiden Tower houses a museum, which presents the story of the historic evolution of Baku city. It also has a gift shop. The view from the roof takes in the alleys and minarets of the Old City, the Baku Boulevard, the De Gaulle house, and a wide vista of the Baku Bay. In recent years, the brazier on the top has been lit during the nights of the Novruz festival. Baku's Maiden Tower is a legendary place and world-famous landmark in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. The Tower is covered by a cloud of mysteries and legends which are rooted in the History of Azerbaijan and the National Culture of Azerbaijan.

Baku Ferris Wheel

Baku Ferris Wheel, also known as the Baku Eye and Devil's Wheel, is a Ferris wheel on Baku Boulevard in the Seaside National Park of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The wheel was built by the Dutch company Dutch Wheels. It was opened on 10 March 2014. The wheel is 60 meters (200 ft) tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes. The cabinets of the Ferris wheel are equipped with conditioners. Small monitors have been set up so that passengers can spend their time entertaining. There are totally 30 cabinets which are intended for 8 people each. 2 of them are VIP cabinets which are for 4 people. The doors of the attraction are opened and closed in a centralized manner in order to ensure safety. At the same time, with this purpose all the cabinets are covered with transparent glass constructions. There are special ladders for each cabinet, which is designed to facilitate the evacuation of passengers in the case of any malfunction in the attraction. Users of "Satan's Ride" have the opportunity to gaze the Baku Bay, the Flag Square, the Crystal Hall and the whole city.
