About us
Centrally located in the charming old town of Ystad in southern Sweden, Hotel Continental has been welcoming guests since 1829. Today the hotel offers 52 rooms with bath or shower, cable television and radio. All our rooms are non-smoking, and a handful have been specially modified to meet the needs of guests with disabilities. The official hotel classification is three stars. Steeped in history, the inviting atmosphere of our grand dining room comes alive in the iridescent glow of evening candlelight and soft piano music. Generations of diners have enjoyed delicious meals beneath our crystal chandeliers since 1829.
